Aerodynamics & Flight Envelope Determination

I have used computational aerodynamic tools for several work and personal projects. I am an expert at AVL and have advanced skills with XFOIL and XFLR5. The majority of my computational aerodynamics projects have been geared towards load flight stability and envelope determination for use in flight controls develpment, structural design and load testing.

Below are two short papers I wrote, the first explores finite wing effects as relative to thin airfoil theory, and the second is a detailed analysis on the loads experienced by the SparrowHawk Glider’s aft fuselage, for use in a load test routine.
